Usually these requests come from US or Canada, and I have
no first hand knowledge on reputable importers over there.
So, help fellow Toyota enthusiasts and send me info
on importers of used Toyota engines and other parts.
Include contact information and any experience you have had
buing from them, good or bad, also approximate price information
could be useful. Your input will be added to this page.

In 1989 I bought an 18-RGU which I put in my Corona Mk II Wagon. It's
still running great.
Just last month (Jan-1997) I bought a 4A-GE which I put in my Corolla
GTS. Everything seems fine so far.
By far, Watanabe is the cheapest place that I have found in So. Cal for
used Japanese engines. I paid $400 in '89 for the 18-RG. The 4A-GE cost
me $245 last month (with a $100 off coupon).
They also said they could get the 4A-GZE for $1500 and the 4A-GE with VVT
and 5 valves for $1900.

I'm in Australia and we have a heap of engine importers.
I'm currently putting a 1jz-gte (2.5 twin turbo) into my RA28 1977 Mustang
Back Celica.
