Test engine: Chevy 454, 403.7hp@5000, 494.6lbft@3500 (twin straight 3" pipes)
All mufflers 3" except the Daytona Turbo.
Peak power was achieved at 5000rpm with all mufflers,
peak torque rpm varied between 3300-3500.
Average power and torque were taken from: 2500-5000rpm.
All measurements were repeated, quoted accuracy 1%.
Noise was measured 1 meter from tailpipe, 10 degrees upwards.
Noise average was taken from: 1000rpm (=idle), 2000rpm, 3000rpm, 4000rpm without load,
3000rpm with 100hp load
